Shiite News: Jaish-e-Furqan Muhammad, a faction of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), has claimed responsibility for the attack on social media, but this claim could not be independently verified.

Yesterday, forces foiled an attempt by terrorists to enter two vehicles laden with explosives into the high-security zone inside the Bannu Cantonment compound.

The terrorists blew up vehicles laden with explosives, killing at least 11 people, including 5 women and 4 children, and injuring 22.

The armed men blew up the vehicles at the gate after security personnel stationed at the entrance of the cantonment area stopped them.

After the explosions, an unknown number of terrorists tried to enter the camp, which resulted in an exchange of fire.

The attack began a few minutes after Iftar yesterday. During the attack, the terrorists fired RPGs and hand grenades.

The number of dead and injured, including 10 security personnel, was also confirmed.

The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is the enemy of the motherland and its nefarious intentions will never be allowed to succeed.
