Quranic competition “Iqra” in Iran will be broadcast on PTV
Shiite News: In Islamabad, Iran’s broadcasting organization IRIB and the national channel PTV have signed the first formal cooperation agreement to strengthen media cooperation and exchange television productions.
The director of the representative office of the Iranian channel, Majeed Hashemi Fara, and the director of the national network, Daniyal Gilani, signed the cooperation agreement in the presence of Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moqadam and Pakistan’s Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Anbareen Jan.
This Based on the agreement, the Quranic competition “Iqra”, initially organized by the Iranian broadcasting organization Sahar Urdu Network during the holy month of Ramadan to strengthen religious and cultural commonalities between Iran and Pakistan, will be broadcast in thirty episodes on Pakistan’s national channel.
