Increase in prices of petroleum products is oppressive move, Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Vice Chairman Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi has said in a condemnatory statement issued by the media cell that he completely rejects the increase in prices of petroleum products.

He said that the people are already being crushed in the mill of inflation, and the increase in diesel and petrol prices will lead to a storm of further inflation in the country.

Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi said that this cruel move of the government has made life miserable for the common man and has made it difficult to get two meals a day.

He said that this move has also undermined the government’s claims of a record reduction in inflation. He added that on the one hand, people seem to be forced to live by selling their household items and assets or taking loans, while on the other hand, by dropping petrol bombs on the people, the callous rulers are busy wasting the country’s resources and national treasury on their luxuries.
