Outlawed Lashkar Jhangvi attacked convoy in Bagan, looted goods, used heavy weapons

Shiite News: In Lower Kurram Bagan, one officer of the forces was martyred and four were injured in the attack on the convoy.

Cut off communication with drivers and conductors of 29 vehicles, the besieged tribes of Parachinar strongly condemned the attack.

According to the district administration and police, 35 vehicles were sent from Thal Shahr to Kurram district.

As soon as the first vehicle of the convoy reached Bagan Bazar, the convoy was attacked with rockets and automatic weapons, which set fire to three vehicles.

Haider Abbas and Malik Dildar, the business leaders of Parachinar, said that the last time they spoke to the drivers, the drivers said that after looting their vehicles, they were being set on fire and their mobile phones were being taken from the drivers. After which the driver and conductors are disconnected.

The Grand Jirga members, former MNA Pir Haider Ali Shahullah Aleek Orkazai, Syed Wasi Syed Mian and Noor Jaff termed the incident as regrettable and said that such actions have dealt a serious blow to the efforts made for peace.
