Human tragedy in Parachinar, 29 children die
Shiite News: As many as 29 children have died in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to lack of timely treatment due to road closures. All transportation routes, including the Peshawar-Parachinar main highway, are still closed, due to which citizens are facing severe difficulties due to lack of medical facilities.
According to Dr. Syed Mir Hassan Jan, MS District Headquarters Hospital Parachinar, 29 children have died in Parachinar Hospital since October 1 due to lack of treatment and lack of facilities.
Dr. Syed Mir Hassan Jan did not give the number of other deaths due to lack of medicines and surgical facilities. However, he said that other people have also died due to lack of medicines and surgical facilities.
MS said that if medicines and other facilities are not provided to the hospital on an emergency basis, a crisis situation could arise.

A human tragedy has arisen due to the lack of essential goods. Citizens are forced to starve. Public transport, hotels, restaurants and business centres in the city have been closed for the past three weeks. Mortuary authorities say that due to the deaths, shrouds have run out in Parachinar.
According to border security officials, the Pak-Afghan Kharlachi border is also closed for all types of trade and movement.
