MWM holds sit-in in front of Lahore Press Club in favor of Parachinar oppressed people

Shiite News: A protest demonstration was held in front of Lahore Press Club under the auspices of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Lahore and Imamia Students Organization Lahore Division against the road closures, siege, shortage of medicines and non-availability of food and drinks in Parachinar district.

A large number of workers, women and citizens participated in the demonstration. The protesters raised slogans against brutality in Parachinar.

The demonstration was led by MWM Punjab President Allama Syed Ali Akbar Kazmi. The protesters also expressed solidarity with the families of the youth who were brutally martyred by Takfiris in Parachinar.

Later, this protest was converted into a regular sit-in. Maghrib prayers were offered in congregation in front of the Press Club.

On the news of the sit-in, a large number of believers are arriving from Lahore and its surrounding areas to participate.

Allama Syed Ali Akbar Kazmi said that on the instructions of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen head Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, protest sit-ins have started across the country.

These sit-ins are part of the ongoing protest movement in Parachinar and until the demands of the oppressed people of Parachinar are accepted, the protests will continue in Lahore and other cities. The scope of these sit-ins will expand across the country with time.
