Parachinar massacre: Protest continue across country, under open sky in freezing cold

Shiite News: Parachinar, a border city located in the northwest of Pakistan, has been under siege by Takfiri Wahhabis for more than two months.

Due to restrictions on transportation and closure of borders in the city, citizens are yearning for the basic necessities of life. According to local sources, patients are facing difficulties due to shortage of medicines in hospitals. The siege has been going on for 73 days, causing a famine in the city. The city with a population of 400,000 is facing a crisis in various respects.

According to hospital sources, a total of 50 children have lost their lives so far due to shortage of medicines in medical centers. In the cold season, citizens are shivering from the cold due to lack of fuel.

The main highway leading to Peshawar city is closed. Takfiri elements present on the way kill citizens going to Parachinar.

In the latest incident, two young men going to Parachinar from Peshawar were martyred by Takfiris after being pulled out of a vehicle on the way.

According to eyewitnesses, the heads of both young men were beheaded and their bodies were dragged on the streets.

Sources have said that the two youths were returning to their native area of Parachinar after working for many years in Iraq, but on the way, both innocent youths fell into the hands of Takfiris.

Instead of taking action against Takfiri terrorists, the security agencies and the provincial and federal governments are pretending to hold talks between the parties.

Instead of restoring the main road to Peshawar for the innocent and troubled people of Parachinar, they are being advised to be patient and forbearing.

Due to the unfortunate situation in Parachinar, public protests are taking place in other cities of Pakistan.

Citizens have started demonstrations at various places in major cities including Karachi against the siege of Parachinar by Takfiris.

A peaceful protest sit-in is underway at Numaish Chowrangi by the Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Sindh Province, Karachi Division.

The protest sit-in is being attended by senior religious scholars and preachers of Ahlul Bayt (AS) Allama Syed Hassan Zafar Naqvi, Allama Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Jafri, Allama Mubashir Hassan, Allama Malik Abbas and a large number of other scholars and the public, despite the harsh winter weather, with national pride and awareness.

The spokesperson of MWM Karachi has appealed to the public to participate in the protest.

After the public demonstration in Karachi, the Sindh government has threatened the protesters to end the protest.

A public demonstration has been held on Alamdar Road in Quetta against the brutality in Parachinar. Similarly, news of protests have been received in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

A sit-in to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Parachinar under the auspices of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organization Pakistan is continuing for the second day outside the Lahore Press Club.

Ahle Sunnah leaders also participated in this sit-in and expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Parachinar.

Prominent Sunni leader and Chairman of the Kul Masalik Ulema Board, Maulana Asim Makhdoom, and Provincial President of the Interfaith Council, Allama Qari Khalid Mahmood, participated in the sit-in and expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Parachinar.

A protest demonstration organized by the Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan is also currently underway in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
