Lashkar-e-Jhangvi attacks security forces check post, 16 soldiers martyred

Shiite News: Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists attacked a Pakistan Army check post in South Waziristan.

As a result, 16 soldiers were martyred, while 8 terrorists were killed in the retaliatory action.

A group of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi tried to attack a security forces check post in the general area of Makin district of South Waziristan.

The security forces effectively foiled the attack and killed 8 terrorists in an exchange of fire.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, 16 brave soldiers embraced martyrdom while fighting bravely.

According to the ISPR, the martyrs include Lance Naik Liaquat Ali, Muhammad Ishaq, Havaldar Ayub Khan, Havaldar Umar Hayat, Sepoy Mehboob Rehman, Havaldar Muhammad Hayat, Lance Naik Sher Muhammad, Sepoy Ehsan-ul-Haq, Sepoy Junaid, Lance Naik Hamid Ali, Sepoy Kaleemullah, Havaldar Tahir Mahmood, Lance Naik Musawar Shaheen, Sepoy Faiz Muhammad, Sepoy Tayyab Ali and Sepoy Junaid.

The ISPR said that a clearance operation is underway in the area to eliminate potential foreign terrorists.
