MWM reaps fruitful results , Pakistani pilgrims stranded in Syria reached Pakistan

Shiite News: With the efforts of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan’s parliamentary leader and member of the National Assembly, Engineer Hamid Hussain, 350 Pakistani pilgrims, including 245 pilgrims, stranded in Syria have safely reached Pakistan.

Engineer Hamid Hussain had met Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch yesterday for the early return of 1,200 Pakistani pilgrims, including pilgrims stranded in Syria.

In the meeting, the Foreign Office Spokesperson had said that the Pakistani government is taking steps to safely return Pakistanis stranded in Syria.

The Pakistani embassy in Damascus facilitated the return of compatriots to Pakistan.

In addition, Deputy Head of Mission in Syria Omar Hayat accompanied the Pakistani citizens to the Syrian-Lebanon border.

DHM of the Pakistani embassy in Lebanon Nawab Adil welcomed these Pakistanis upon their arrival in Lebanon.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said that God willing, all Pakistanis will be airlifted to Pakistan as soon as possible.
