Government should not use Islam for personal ambitions, Allama Amin Shahidi

Shiite News: Head of the Ummat e Wahida, Allama Amin Shahidi, while giving a statement on a national television program, said that the government should not use Islam for personal ambitions.

He spoke at length on the fatwa regarding VPN of the Council of Islamic Ideology.

Allama Amin Shahidi said that the Council of Islamic Ideology is forced, the government makes decisions of its own accord.

He said that from the beginning, two Islams were seen, one of the Islam of the government and one of God. Every government used Islam for its own ambitions.

The government’s decision regarding VPN today is only to distract the public. The government is taking such stupid steps to prevent the public from accessing every piece of news.

He warned the government to avoid such steps and stop using Islam.
