Leader of Payam Wilayat Foundation martyred in Karachi
Shiite News: An important Shia leader was martyred in the firing incident in the FB area of Karachi late at night.
According to the details, on Wednesday night, three motorcycle-riding suspects escaped by firing indiscriminately at a hotel near Federal B Area Block 20 Incholi Imambargah, Sumanabad Police Station.
One person was killed and another was injured in the firing incident.
On receiving the information, a police force reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased and the injured to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
In the hospital, the deceased was identified as 40-year-old Syed Abu Haider Raza, while the injured was identified as 50-year-old Rizwan.
According to the police, the accused have not looted and the incident seems to be a target killing, the police investigating further in this regard.
The person who died in the firing has been identified as 52-year-old Syed Muhammad Abu Hashim son of Syed Muhammad Jafar.
Sources say that the accused opened fire were hit by a vehicle coming from behind. The three accused were caught by the public on the spot. The accused that fired have been detained.
The police have confirmed the arrest of three suspects, saying that it is too early to say whether the three suspects committed the murder.
Police have recovered bullet casings from the spot and CCTV footage is also being sought.
The authorities are investigating the case. A pedestrian named Rizwan was also injured in the incident.
According to the report of Shiite News, Abu Hashim, the elder brother of Waqar, a member of Payam Wilayat Foundation Pakistan, has been martyred by terrorists.
The dead body of the martyr has been shifted to Incholi Imambargah, where the family members and devotees reached.
The government and security agencies should take strict action against these terrorists and bring them to justice in order to maintain the peace of the country.
