A lawyer filed a case against Ahsan Boxer, which resulted in him being sentenced to prison. However, the accused admitted himself to the hospital on the pretext of insanity, from where he escaped and reached Afghanistan.

According to reports, Ahsan Boxer has received asylum from the Taliban in Afghanistan and is now constantly threatening the lawyer who is fighting the case against him. He has made clear threats to kill the lawyer and stay away from the case, posing grave threats to the lawyer and his family.

The accused allegedly belongs to the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, and his recent actions have posed a serious threat to law and order in the country.

Lawyers and the legal community have demanded that the government, army, and law enforcement agencies take immediate action against Ahsan Boxer and bring him back to Pakistan so that he can be brought to justice.
