Police officials torturing Shia Hazara youth in private cells should be exposed, MWM Quetta

Shiite News: Provincial Vice President of Majlis Wahdat Muslim Balochistan and Imam of Friday Allama Ali Hasnain Hussaini said the presence of a private torture cell of a policeman in Hazara Town area of Quetta is condemnable.

Expressing great concern and anger, he has said that the accused who abducted the youth in Hazara town and tortured them in their private cells are playing the role of spreading terror in the society.

He demanded that the terrorists and their facilitators who pledge to protect the public by wearing police uniform should be made a lesson.

Allama Ali Hasnain Hussaini said that it is the responsibility of the higher authorities of the police to investigate this incident on a priority basis and bring all the facilitators involved in this heinous crime to justice without discrimination.

A police officer named Sanaullah has defamed the name of the entire police department.

He said that the fear is being expressed by the public that along with the policeman, other police employees and officers are also included, who cannot be pardoned under any circumstances.

IG Police and DIG Quetta took the matter into the public’s confidence as soon as possible and assured that such incidents will never happen again.

All the accused involved in torture cell killings and their facilitators will be punished according to the law.

The MWM leader expressed great regret and said that some police officials harassed the people by using their power and authority, tortured them unnecessarily and subjected them to torture.

In order to prevent these incidents, the senior officers of the police started a public awareness campaign to convey the message to the public at all levels about what to do in case of illegal use of force by the police.
