Pakistan dispatches 14th consignment of aid to Gaza and Lebanon

Shiite News: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) continuing to provide humanitarian aid to the people affected by the war in Gaza and Lebanon under the direction of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

14th aid consignment was sent from Karachi to Lebanon. This shipment was sent with the support of Al Khidmat Foundation.

The relief shipment includes around 17 tons of supplies including tents, tins of food, dry milk, clothes and hygiene kits. The aid was flown from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport to Beirut, Lebanon.

The departure ceremony held at Jinnah International Airport was attended by Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Shah and representatives of NDMA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Al Khidmat Foundation.

Minister Qaiser Shah emphasized the urgent need to provide aid to the war-affected populations of Palestine and Lebanon, keeping in mind the ongoing conflicts and the needs of the affected communities.

He reiterated the commitment of the Government of Pakistan to help our brothers and sisters in distress and emphasized the importance of the cooperation of humanitarian organizations and the people of Pakistan to strengthen these efforts.

Earlier, the Government of Pakistan has sent 12 relief consignments to Gaza, Palestine and this is the third consignment to Lebanon with a total volume of 1,398 tons.

The government of Pakistan is continuing to send relief goods according to the needs of the war-affected populations of Lebanon and Palestine.
