High-level tribal leaders delegation from Kurram calls on Senator Allama Raja Nasir
Shiite News: A high-level tribal delegation from Kurram district met Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, at his residence.
The delegation included retired IG Syed Irshad Hussain, former senator Syed Sajjad Syed Mian, former senator Sajjad Hussain, prominent tribal Chief Syed Wali Syed Mian, tribal chief Syed Muhammad, Dr. Munir Bangash, Tehsil Chairman Agha Muzamil Hussain Faseeh and MWM Provincial General Secretary Shabbir Sajdi.
The delegation informed Chairman Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari about the latest situation of Kurram. There was a detailed discussion on the situation after the incidents of terrorism.
The closure of all roads, including the Tal-Parachinar main highway, has led to shortages of food items, medicines and petrol and diesel, creating a humanitarian tragedy.
The Chairman said that regarding the current situation of Kurram district, a calling attention notice has been submitted to the Senate of Pakistan.
In the House, the Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi has been asked for an answer regarding the closure of Tal-Parachinar main highway, including the tragic events of Kurram district.
The delegation appreciated the efforts of MWM Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari for maintaining peace in Kurram district and expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of the district.
