3 terrorists of banned Lashkar Jhangvi arrested

Shiite News: Anti-Terrorism Department arrested three terrorists of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan while conducting an operation in Sohrab Goth area of Karachi.

In a statement released by the Counter-Terrorism Department, it said that after the martyrdom of a police constable by terrorists, CTD acted on the informant and arrested three terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Farhad, Haji Rehman and Mohammad Sagheer.

The police recovered 3 pistols and organizational literature from the possession of the arrested accused.

During investigation, the accused revealed that they belong to the Maulana Bashir group of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and it was he who gave them the task of attacking the police in Karachi.

The statement said that the weapons recovered from the accused will be sent to the laboratory for analysis and further revelations are expected from them in the investigation.

It should be noted that on June 3 this year, terrorists opened fire on the police party in Sohrab Goth area, as a result of which Constable Muhammad Yasin and Constable Salman Abbas were injured.
