LHC cancels detention order of MWM Punjab leader Ikhlaq Bukhari, released after three months
The Lahore High Court has cancelled the undue detention order of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) Punjab political secretary Syed Ikhlaq ul Hassan Bukhari and ordered his released after three months detention.
According to details, Ikhlaq ul Hassan was arrested under MPO three months before. His undue arrest was challenged by legal aid committee of MWM in the court and after hearing the case, court has given order to release Ikhlaq ul Hassan Bukari with honor.
Addressing to hundreds of party workers after his release from Jhang jail, Ikhlaq ul Hassan said that district administration’s dirty tactics cannot discourage us. We were the convener of voice of truth and will remain so until the last drop of blood in our body. Its pertaining to mention here that the Saudi funded Punjab and Nawaz Governments have adopted the strategy to victamize the leading shiite political party activists through MPO cases and the permit holders of Azadari but they had failed in their plots like their forefathers.
