False conspiracy of US official killing, Shia youth indicted

Shiite News: Asif Raza Merchant was indicted on the false charge of conspiracy to kill an American official.

Asif Raza Merchant, a young man from Karachi, was earlier arrested on the charge of assassinating former US President Donald Trump.

According to the US Department of Justice, law enforcement agencies foiled the plot before any attacks were carried out.

The Attorney General said that Iranian efforts to endanger national security will not be tolerated, and will continue to hold accountable those who support conspiracies against American citizens.

It should be noted that after the arrest of Asif Merchant in America, the law enforcement agencies raided the houses of his relatives and friends in Karachi and also investigated his close friends and relatives.
