Parliamentary Leader MWM GB Kazim Maisam visits flood affected areas

Shiite News: Opposition Leader Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly and Parliamentary Leader MWM GB Kazim Maisam along with District Administrative Officers visited Chanda Nala flood affected area, Tindal Tanjos Road and Gamba Skardu flood affected areas.

On this occasion, he inspected the ongoing work for rescue and reviewed the management activities so far.

He appreciated the ongoing steps taken by District Administrative Head, Deputy Commissioner, AC Gamba Skardu and GBDMA for timely rescue. And stressed that an immediate assessment should also be made to repair the damages.

Direct measures to ensure drinking water supply to Gamba Skardu and immediate restoration of communication roads and safety dam on emergency basis.

He also gave instructions to the Department of Fisheries to restore the affected fish farms of people associated with fisheries.

The district administration chiefs assured to keep the rescue machinery and the entire team active in the affected areas until the flood subsides.
