34 Takfiris arrested for collecting skins illegally on Eid

Shiite News: During a crackdown against the banned Takfiri organizations involved in collecting the skins of sacrificial animals during Eid-al Azha in the Provincial Capital of Punjab.

As many as 34 accused were arrested for collecting skins without the permission of the district administration. According to DIG Operations, 29 cases were registered for illegal collection of skins.

Only organizations registered with the Charity Commission are allowed to collect skins. On the other hand, police operations wing is also conducting operations against those involved in burning of animal heads and trotters in the residential areas.

DIG Operations Faisal Kamran says that 32 accused of roasting heads and trotters of animals have been arrested and 25 cases have been registered.

During the days of Eid, there is a ban on roasting of animals head and trotters in highways, streets and intersections. 3 cases were registered and 5 accused were arrested for aerial firing on Eid day.

23 cases were registered against the one-wheeling perpetrators while 27 accused were arrested.
