8 years passed since martyrdom of Khurram Zaki, killers still at large

Shiite News: It has been passed 8 years since martyrdom of Khurram Zaki, the supporter of the oppressed and the strong voice against oppressors and terrorists, was born in the land of Pakistan.

The known killers of Shaheed Khurram Zaki, terrorists Aurangzeb Farooqi, Ahmad Ludhianvi and Maulvi Abdul Aziz are still at large.

It has been 8 years since Shaheed Khurram Zaki, a brave and insightful human rights leader, an effective and powerful voice against terrorism, ethnic prejudice, sectarianism, and injustice, was passed away.

The family of the martyr waiting for justice sine the long passing time. The eighth martyrdom anniversary of patriotic journalist and social leader Khurram Zaki is being observed today.

He was targeted by terrorists of pro-Saudi banned terrorist organization Sipah Sahaba/Lashkar Jhangvi on the night of May 7, 2016 when he along with his close friend Khalid Rao. They were busy having dinner at a dhaba hotel in Sector 11B North Karachi.

Khurram Zaki’s funeral prayer was performed on the Pakistan Highway, in which millions of devotees participated.
Later, his body was taken to the Chief Minister’s House in a large procession, where after a long sit-in, his burial was carried out in Wadi Hussain Cemetery.

It should be noted that the crime of Shaheed Khurram Zaki was to be a follower of the School of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and to have a strong voice against Takfiris in Pakistan. He gave awareness to the people across the country to stand up against Takfiri.

In the Hurriyat movement of Shaheed Khurram Zaki, not only Shias but also hundreds of Ahlus Sunni young boys and girls were by his side. Lal Masjid, which is also known as the headquarters of the Taliban and Daesh, was seen protesting outside many times with their lives on the line.

It will not be an exaggeration if Shaheed Khurram Zaki is called the advocate and ambassador of the unity of Muslims.
