Shiite News: President of Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain, has said that the three-day visit of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will open new avenues of economic cooperation between the two countries.

The distinguished guest is accompanied by a large delegation of Iranian businessmen so that his visit should be taken full advantage of and economic cooperation should be increased which will also help in reducing the tension between the two countries.

Economic affairs in Pakistan have always been neglected which brought the country close to bankruptcy.

Due to the efforts of the political and military leadership, the country avoided bankruptcy, but the economic situation still cannot be declared out of danger.

The Iranian president is visiting at a time when Pakistan’s economic condition is weak and the country is facing a $20 billion fine due to Iran’s non-implementation of the gas pipeline agreement.

There are elements in the border areas that are a threat to both countries, due to which tension has become the norm in bilateral relations and both countries continue to accuse each other.

Pakistan and Iran should jointly clear border areas of terrorists, establish border markets and regulate border trade.

Pakistan can get cheap oil, gas, steel and dozens of other commodities from Iran, while dozens of commodities can be exported to Iran, including foodstuffs.

Both the countries should create a special and joint economic zone in the border area, which will not only provide employment to the people but also reduce the import bill of Pakistan.
