Guard of honor presented in honor of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi

Shiite News: President of Iran Ibrahim Raisi arrived in Islamabad on a 3-day visit. Federal Minister of Housing and Works Riaz Hussain Pirzada welcomed the Iranian President at Noor Khan Air Base.

When Syed Ibrahim Raisi reached the Prime Minister’s House, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the Iranian President. A guard of honor was presented to Iranian President Dr. Seyed Ibrahim Raisi by the armed forces contingent.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, this is the first visit of the head of state to Pakistan after the newly elected democratic government. The Iranian president is accompanied by his wife and a high-level delegation.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the Iranian delegation includes the foreign minister, members of the cabinet and senior officials, and a large trade delegation.

According to the spokesman, the meeting also includes the agenda of increasing public relations and cooperation in various fields. Besides, during the Iranian President’s visit, there will be discussions on bilateral cooperation to deal with the common threat of terrorism.
