MWM organizes Shia-Sunni jirga in Parachinar

Shiite News: To maintain the harmonious and positive atmosphere and solve the regional problems together, an important jirga of Parachinar Shia and Sunni elders was organized under the auspices of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen District Kurram.

On this occasion, the Shia and Sunni elders unanimously stressed the need for peace and brotherhood, saying that peace and order is the most important concern of everyone in the region.

Shabbir Hussain Sajdi, the provincial general secretary of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, expressed his views and said that the Sunni brothers of Kurram district have proved that they are desirous of peace by voting for Engineer Hameed Hussain.

At the end of the jirga, Shia, Sunni elders took a symbolic peace walk from the MWM district office to the central Imambargah Gah Parachinar and gave a message of peace.

This effort of MWM was appreciated by the Shia and Sunni members and assured that they will fully cooperate with the newly elected MNA Hameed Hussain and are ready to make all kinds of sacrifices for the establishment of peace in the region.
