Majid Hussain Jatoi elected new Central President of Asgharia Tehreek

Shiite News: The 8th Annual Central “Husseini Islahi Tehreek” Convention and Youm e Imam al-Zamana (A.S.)” of Asghariya Ilm o Amal Tehreek Pakistan was held on March 8-10 in Skrand City, Nawabshah District, Sindh.

Former Asgharia workers and officials from all over Sindh participated fully.

Central President Shehzad Raza delivered the opening address and Convention Chairman Muhammad Alam Sajdi spoke about the Convention.

Syed Hussain Mousavi, Chairman of Asgharia Movement, taught on the subject in the first session.

After which Sabit Ali Sajdi, former central president of Asgharia, gave a presentation on climate change. On the first day of the convention, the first phase elections were held for the Centre, Division and Districts.

On the second day, departmental performance reports of all the districts were presented, and the final stage elections of the center, division and districts were held.

During the second day, Maulana Syed Kazim Abbas Naqvi, Maulana Sajjad Hussain Ahir, Dr. Jawad Haider Hashmi, Maulana Mohammad Azam Qumi and others spoke on various topics.

On the last day of the central convention, a public meeting titled Yum-e-Imam-Zamana (AS) was organized under the chairmanship of Maulana Muhammad Baqir Najafi.

In which Syed Hussain Mousavi, Maulana Syed Nisar Ali Naqvi, Maulana Ghulam Raza Sriwal, Maulana Ghulam Shabir Kanheo, Maulana Muhammad Azam Qumi, Maulana Sajjad Hussain Ahir spoke.

Later, the central president gave a farewell address and announced his resignation along with his cabinet. After which Maulana Muhammad Baqir Najafi announced the names of the new central president, division presidents and district presidents.

Majid Hussain Jatoi was elected as the new Mir-e-Karvan of Asgaria Tehreek by the majority opinion.

Maulana Muhammad Baqir Najafi took oath as the elected central president.

Meanwhile, at the end of the central convention of the Asgaria Women’s Knowledge and Action Movement, Syeda Khushboo Abbas Mousavi was elected as the new central president.

Later he took the oath of office. The central convention ended with the supplication of Imam al-Zamana (a.s.).
