Shiite News: Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has said that President Arif Alvi did not consult with us regarding the statement of the Palestinian state solution. Senator Raza Rabbani has demanded the President to resign.

In the Senate meeting chaired by Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Tuesday, Senator Raza Rabbani said that President Arif Alvi contacted the President of Palestine on telephone.

After this contact, in the press release issued by the President House, it was said that there is only one state solution to the problem of Israel and Palestine.

Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani said in the Senate that the President did not consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs while issuing a statement on the one-state solution for Palestine.

He said that Raza Rabbani’s words are absolutely correct.

After that, the revised statement issued by the Presidency said that President Arif Alvi assured Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that Pakistan will continue its support for the resolution of the Palestinian issue under the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
