Several innocents held in raids on All Pakistan Shia Action Committee’s office, Noor-e-Eeman Masjid

Several innocent Shia Muslims were taken into custody during police raids on the office of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee and Masjid-e-Noor-e-Eeman in Nazimabad Karachi late on Monday night.
Heavy contingents of police surrounded the area and raided Al-Arif Apartment, head office of All Parties Shia Action Committee and Jamia Masjid Noor-e-Eeman. Several innocent Shia youths were taken into custody from Al-Arif Apartment. An orphan boy namely Hassan was taken into custody from the office of the action committee.

Police also held Fakhar Abbas, security guard of Jamia Masjid Noor-e-Eeman. Lady searchers were accompanying the police team.

All Parties Shia Action Committee’s office bearers have condemned the police raids and arrests and termed it a biased police action against Shia Muslims. They said that the raids on and arrests of Shiites are made to victimize the victims of genocide. They said that on one hand terrorists kill Shiites in targeted attacks and on the other police arrest Shiites to encourage the terrorists.
