‘Violent clashes’ between Israeli forces, Palestinian fighters reported in northern Gaza

Al Jazeera Arabic report that the “violent clashes” breaking out between Israeli forces and Palestinian fighters in the northwest of Gaza City.

Israeli forces have been advancing inside the Gaza Strip in the last few days, igniting clashes with the armed wing of Hamas and other groups.

At least 16 Israeli soldiers have already been reported killed since Israel announced its ground operation inside the Palestinian territory.
