Russia sends 27 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza

Russia sends 27 tonnes of humanitarian aid for civilians in the Gaza Strip to be transported from Egypt, according to Moscow’s emergency situations ministry.

A special plane took off from Ramenskoye airport near Moscow. The United Nations estimates that about one million of Gaza’s 2.4 million people have so far fled to the southern Palestinian territory.
