Six Shia pilgrims martyred in a bomb attack

At least six Shia pilgrims (Zaireen) were martyred and several others were wounded in a bomb attack in Balochistan province on Tuesday.

The Zaireen were returning from pilgrimage to the sacred shrines of Imam Raza (AS), Hazrat Fatima and other Imam Zadegan. When their bus reached Kanak area in Mastung, a huge bomb exploded.

Six Zaireen were martyred on the spot and several others including women and children were injured. No ambulance reached the area till the filing of this report.

The bus was moving from Taftan, the area on Pakistan-Iran border to Quetta via Mastung. Identity of the victims of the terrorism was yet to be established.
