Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, the head of Shia Ulema Council (SUC) of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi mentioned the martial law of July 5, 1977 and said that once again as per the tradition, on that day Pakistan was engulfed in martial law.
The country is still suffering from the devastation. Allama Sajid Naqvi said in his message on the occasion of “Fiqh-e-Jafariya Day” on 6th July said that there was a concern in every class that a particular brand of Islam should not be enforced.
This concern was given a dimension and a way by the dignified, civilized and legal protest of 6th July 1980.
The effort was to raise awareness among the people and to convince the rulers that a fair system should be implemented by making use of research efforts of Muslim scholars, researchers, mujtahids and jurists and applying it to the requirements of the modern age.
To be considered as a model and which is beyond extremism, sectarianism, bigotry and sectarianism.
Allama Sajid Naqvi said that the 6th of July is the day for the establishment of a just system and the rightful rights of the people which the constitution has given to all schools of thought.
The scope of respect for each other’s beliefs and ideologies and customs and rituals between the schools was clarified and specified.
The head of SUC further said that until today, the rights of all the schools of thought and those with different points of view are not being taken care of and cruel measures are taken to stop even the peaceful voice of protest.
It is the day of renewal of pledge that the serious sections of the society with the people should once again intensify the struggle for their rights with new courage and new spirit and play their role to make Pakistan a truly Islamic, welfare, and democratic state.
