2 active Shiite youth forcibly disappeared from Karachi

Shiite News: Another start of unconstitutional actions by state institutions, two young Shia activists were forcibly disappeared from Shahr-e-Quaid last night by plainclothes security personnel.

According to the details, the plainclothes personnel belonging to the security agencies have illegally taken two active Shia youths of Karachi, Ruhollah Turabi and Askari Zaidi, in the dark of night and forcibly disappeared them.

Sources say that Ruhollah Turabi, the son of Shaheed Allama Hasan Turabi, was picked up near his residence in Abbas Town at the time of Sehri on the 1st of Ramadan.

While Syed Askari Zaidi, the former leader of Mukhtar Force Karachi, was taken away from his residence in Amroha Society at the time of Sehri by plain clothed men.

It should be noted that these extra-constitutional arrests are a flagrant violation of basic civil liberties. If a person is found guilty, he should be arrested with a warrant and brought before the court.
