Imam Khomeini and Quaid-e-Azam wanted democracy in line with Islam, Speakers

Shiite News: On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, a cultural event was organized at Khana Farhang Islamic Iran Karachi.

Faculty of Islamic Studies University of Karachi Prof. Dr. Zahid Ali Zahidi, Central Deputy Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan Maulana Aqeel Anjum Qadri, Prof Jawad Haider Hashmi and other academic, literary, political, religious and social personalities spoke.

Male and female participants also expressed their views during the cultural session. The national anthems of Iran and Pakistan were also played at the beginning of the cultural session.

In the ceremony, the cake of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was also cut.

Addressing the cultural meeting, Director Khana Farhang Dr. Saeed Talebi Nia said that according to the theory of Hazrat Imam Khomeini, political, economic, cultural and economic freedom is necessary for any society, otherwise it will not be considered a free society.

He was a supporter of the Islamic system in which there is no foreign interference, opposing the imperialism and expressing freedom from the Eastern and Western blocs, taking care of the interests and development of the country and the people, from the slavery and following of foreigners. Salvation is essential for political stability.

Dr. Saeed Talebi said that Iran and Pakistan have ideal brotherly relations, the people of both countries love each other very much. Dr. Saeed Talebi Nia said that Imam Khomeini always taught strong opposition to the imperialist powers, one of the goals of the Islamic Revolution of Iran is to eliminate the imperialist powers and their plunder and take the path of vigorous resistance against them.

Imam Khomeini insisted on eliminating the influence of the imperialist powers, especially the Zionist Israelis, from the region.

He said that dictator Raza Shah Pahlavi played the role of an American agent, but the US did not give him shelter either, the American role in killing Raza Shah.

He said that Imam Khomeini and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah told Muslims the way of real intellectual freedom.

Professor Dr. Zahid Ali Zahidi said that Imam Khomeini did not only change the political system, but he changed all aspects of life including culture, economy, which had positive effects on the whole world.

The patriotism and Hurriyat taught by Imam demanded that their decisions should not be made in Washington and Moscow, many non-Muslim countries gained independence by struggling.

Professor Zahid Ali Zahidi said that the achievement of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is very great, because Iran was an independent state, where his agent Reza Shah was dominant instead of a foreign force, but the British government was dominant in the subcontinent, the entire subcontinent was a British colony, but liberating this subcontinent from British colonialism and then creating a new independent state of Pakistan is a very important and huge achievement.

He further said that a misconception is spread about Quaid-e-Azam that he wanted a secular state, while the fact is that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah himself had made it clear that he wanted democracy, he wanted a democratic system according to Islamic teachings.

Imam Khomeini also wanted democracy. Imam Khomeini’s system is a democratic system, in which the people are given the opportunity to participate.

What Khomeini has implemented in Iran is not Mullahism, Imam Khomeini says that Wilayat Faqih is actually the rule of the law, not the rule of the Mullah, the law which is the law of Islam, which everyone is bound by.

The people and the rulers are also bound, the Supreme Leader is also bound by the law. He further said that Quaid-e-Azam also wanted democracy according to the Islamic spirit, Quaid-e-Azam wanted the result of Islam, but he did not want mullahism.

Renowned journalist Nazir Laghari said that Quaid-e-Azam was a Muslim but he did not believe in Mullayat.
Quaid-e-Azam had opposed the establishment of special anti-terrorism courts in India, but today special anti-terrorism courts have been established 27 times in our country.

DG Social Welfare Sindh Government said that when oppression reaches its extreme, change comes, a single man cannot bring revolution.

Maulana Aqeel Anjum Qadri said that the Islamic Revolution of Iran created a life in the Islamic world, the entire Muslim Ummah had become hopeless that Islam could not be implemented, Islam could not come before the world as an effective force.

By rejecting wrong views and wrong thoughts, Islam was successfully presented to the world as an effective force.
He further said that the Islamic revolution in Iran is not an outdated thought but a living thought, a young thought, a bright thought revolution, that is why even after the passing of 44 years, whether the passing generations or the present developed generation, they are from Islam and the Islamic system.

Both Imam Khomeini and Quaid-e-Azam rejected outdated systems and awakened sleeping nations. He said that Quaid-e-Azam and Imam Khomeini guided the people in the original way

He taught how to live, Iran is the country that stands in front of imperialism and the devil, America. May Allah keep this Islamic revolution of Iran forever.

Other speakers said that Imam Khomeini and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah conveyed the message of freedom within the Iranian and Pakistani nations.
