Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, head of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, has proposed to immediately withdraw the privileges and VVIP protocols of every type in view of the country’s economic situation, calling it extravagance.

Instead of imposing the conditions of the IMF on the people who are victims of inflation, unemployment and climate change, they should be imposed on the individuals who take concessions and protocols in every period and the tax system should be made strong and transparent.

He expressed these views while commenting on the agreement between the federal government and the IMF, heavy taxes and mini-budget reports.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that the recent economic emergency in the country is due to continuous wrong policies of the governments.

A deal is being made with the IMF on its terms in a very difficult economic situation. He further said that we understand the country’s economic problems, the situation is not better in any case, but steps are necessary for improvement.

Steps required to increase the foreign exchange reserves in the country, the policy of self-reliance has to be followed, for which undoubtedly the most difficult decisions are necessary.

He said that, like every time, instead of putting the burden on the poor people, especially those living below the poverty line, the people suffering from inflation, unemployment and climate change, it should be put on those classes and individuals who have take protocols and concessions, the overall economic situation of the country demands that all unnecessary expenses, concessions and protocols should be eliminated.
