Incompetence of police department: unable to present record of murder case of prominent poet Syed Mohsin Naqvi

Shiite News: The police department failed to present the records of the murder case of prominent poet Ahlul Bayt Syed Mohsin Naqvi Shaheed in the court.

The anti-terrorism court in Lahore has postponed the hearing of the 26-year-old murder case of Mohsin Naqvi till January 30.

Accused Ajmal alias Akram Lahori has filed a bail application after his arrest. The hearing was adjourned till January 30 as the judge was on leave.

Admin Judge Anti-Terrorism Court heard the case. The court was told that the record of the twenty-six-year-old case could not be found yet.

The official who had the record was transferred, before the transfer the official handed over the record to DSP Legal Altaf Hussain.

The court has ordered DSP Legal Altaf Hussain to produce the records.
