Hasan Jawad Asghari elected central President of ASO Pakistan

Shiite News: Asghaaria Students Organization (ASO) Pakistan held its annual central convention, Hasan Jawad Asghari was elected as the new central president by majority vote.

According to the details, the 53rd annual central convention of Asgharia Students Organization (ASO) of Pakistan, “Ittehad e Ummat wa Istehkam e Pakistan” and Sayyidat-Nisa-ul-Alameen (S.A) Day, was held at Bhit Shah Cultural Center, Matiari district, Sindh.

Maulana Haider Ali Jawadi presided over the meeting, on the first day, after the Namaz Maghrabeen, the collective Dua e Kumail was held, which was recited by Maulana Ghulam Raza Abidi.

After lunch, the first session of the central convention formally began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which the central president of ASO, Saqlain Ali Jafari, delivered the opening speech and thanked the guests and participants of the convention.

On the first day of the convention, Maulana Ali Naqi Hashmi gave a speech on the current situation. During the first session, the annual performance reports of the districts, divisions and the center were presented.

The annual performance report of the center was presented in the important meeting of the guardian council chaired by Allama Haider Ali Jawadi, later the general council meeting was held to elect the new central president, in which unit presidents, districts, divisions and officials of the central cabinet voted for the election of the new central president.

On the second and last day of the central convention, a general meeting titled “Youm e Sayyidat-Nisa-ul-Alamin Fatima Zahra (S.A)” was organized, in which Allama Haider Ali Jawadi, Maulana Raza Muhammad Saeedi, Allama Mir Maqsood Ali Domki, Maulana Muhammad Mohsin Mahdavi, Maulana Syed Sibtain Naqvi, Maulana Professor Mohammad Bakhsh Chandio, Maulana Irfan Ali Irfani, Maulana Sajjad Ali Jawadi, Maulana Sarfaraz Mehdi Chandio, Engineer Ghulam Raza Jafri, Ustad Akhlaq Ahmad Akhlaq, Lutf Ali Mahdavi and other scholars and intellectuals came from all over the country addressed.

At the end of the meeting, Allama Haider Ali Jawadi announced the name of the new Central President of Asgharia Students for the year 2023, after which Allama Jawadi administered the oath of office to the new Central President Hasan Jawad Asghari.

Later, the newly elected central president Hasan Jawad Asghari addressed the participants of the convention and announced the central cabinet. The main convention was concluded with a Dua e Salamati Imam al-Zamana (A.S.).
