Plan to attack Shia pilgrims failed, 5 Takfiri terrorists killed
Shiite News: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and sensitive agencies have jointly conducted an operation in Mastung district of Balochistan.
According to the spokesperson of CTD, the action was taken against the alleged main terrorists of the banned organization Lashkar Jhangvi jointly by the sensitive institutions and the CTD in Dasht-e-Splanji area of Mastung.
According to CTD spokesman, there was an exchange of fire between the security personnel and the alleged armed men.
According to local sources, gunshots and explosions were heard in Dasht-e-Splanji. After the firing stopped, CTD spokesman said that five alleged terrorists were killed and three officials were injured during the operation.
The spokesman said that a huge amount of arms and ammunition have been recovered from the terrorists’ hideout.
Forces are shifting bodies and injured to local hospitals. The alleged terrorists were planning attacks on pilgrims and security forces.
