Prayer, lighting in memory of Shaheed Naveed Ashiq and students martyred in Afghanistan
Shiite News: Under the auspices of Dua Committee Provincial Secretariat Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen
Collective prayers offered on Mehfil Shah Khorasan Road prayers for martyr female Shia students of Afghanistan at the hands of ISIS and in memory of Zakir Ahlul Bayt Shaheed Naveed Ashiq B.A.
A lit-a-candle ceremony was held, in which various dignitaries participated. Nasir Hussaini had the honor of reciting Surah Yasin and Maulana Hayat Abbas Najafi recited Dua.
MWM Karachi Division President Allama Sheikh Sadiq Jafari, Maulana Hayat Abbas Najafi, Allama Sajjad Shabbir Rizvi, Pakistan Awami Tehreek Central Leader Syed Zafar Iqbal Qadri, Dua Committee and Chairman of Fatima Sadat Welfare Foundation Syed Samar Abbas Naqvi. Maulana Saqlain Abbas Zakzaky addressed.
Allama Muhammad Sadiq Jafari said that being a martyr is a source of honor for us, the blood of martyrs will never go in vain, it is our right to mourn at the shrine of Shaheed Abdullah Shah Ghazi, sectarian elements are conspiring to convert the issue into a communal form which will not be accepted.
Allama Sajjad Shabbir Rizvi said in his speech that by martyring Zakir Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in the mourning majlis, the enemy thinks that we will abandon the majlis, No never.
Maulana Hayat Abbas Najafi demanded the release of the mourners and the recovery of the missing persons. Nasir Hussaini said that all organizations should rise above prejudice and protest against Shia Muslims in Afghanistan and Shia genocide in Pakistan.
Condemning the attitude of the Punjab government, the speakers said that the banned terrorists in the province are issuing fatwas of takfir openly while the Punjab government is busy watching silently. He demanded an operation against terrorist elements and seminaries promoting Takfiri thought.
Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Malir District President Ahsan Rizvi, MWM Sindh Information Secretary Ali Ahmar and MWM Lines Area and Eastern District Official Naushad Ali also participated in the prayer program.
At the end of the program, it was announced to observe the ‘Hafta-e-Wehdat’ and Birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS), which will start from Khorasan Britto Road and end at Azakhana Zahra (AS) Soldier Bazaar.
