Al-Majlis Welfare Organization establishes First Tent Shelter

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslim Sindh President Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi has said that he will not leave his countrymen alone in this difficult time.

The restoration works are going on and the painful philanthropists are worthy of praise from the political and social organizations and the government for their service to the people of the country.

On this occasion, Secretary Welfare Department and In-charge Relief Operation Arshadullah Maktabi, President of MWM Karachi Allama Sadiq Jafri, Kazim Abbas, Muhammad Abbas, Ahsan Abbas Rizvi, Haider Zaidi, Kaleem Raza, Hasan Raza and other leaders were present.

He said that in this time of difficulty, MWM’s subsidiary Majlis Welfare Organization is working on a daily basis in Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab, which includes delivery of cooked food, food items, and delivery of food to various districts.

Provision of necessary living facilities in temporary residences of flood-affected families in public places and due to the spread of various epidemics after the flood disasters, many people, especially innocent children, are dying.
A team of doctors is conducting medical camps, providing medicines to combat epidemics.

Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi said that tent shelter has been set up for 500 people in the city of Benazirabad, Dolatpur, Sindh, while the provision of cooked food in public schools is being done on a daily basis. Tents will be set up for the affected families in other districts of Sindh including Kherpur Meerus.
