Difficulties in obtaining Iraqi visa, the government should take care of thousands of troubled pilgrims, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi

Shiite News: Sindh President of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi said that a large number of air tickets have been lost due to the Iraqi embassy.

A number of pilgrims walk from Najaf to Karbala and perform mourning ceremonies in Karbala. Millions of pilgrims are expected to depart from Pakistan on Arbaeen Hussaini this year by land and air routes.

A visa has also been applied for, but due to the lethargic attitude of the current Iraqi embassy, it is feared that the pilgrims will not be successful to perform the Arbaeen Imam Hussain A.S in the country.

Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi demanded the Foreign Office and the Ministry of Religious Affairs that through diplomatic relations and contacts, taking immediate notice of the current situation of not getting Iraqi visas for pilgrims, visas for pilgrims going to Iraq from Pakistan on emergency basis as soon as possible.
