MWM Pakistan rejects PECA Ordinance, Nasir Shirazi

Shiite News: The Central Deputy Secretary-General of MWM Pakistan, Nasir Shirazi has rejected PECA Ordinance as it is collided with freedom of expression. He said that the objective of said ordinance is apparently to stop dissemination of fake news to public but it may also be used for authentic news. He further said that unbailable arrest on unauthentic news is an injustice. There is no example of civilized countries in this regard. He said that punishment for an innocent is very dangerous.

He also said that fake news and fake views are two different things but this ordinance will also grip such analysts who will express their views for any news, and this act will shut the door of criticism which is not acceptable.
