Shia organizations reject Uniform National Curriculum

Shiite News: Newly introduced Uniform National Curriculum does not collide with constitution but also against the principals of Quaid-e-Azam. In this regard a press conference was held by Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan at Karachi Press Club.

On this occasion, the Central President of ISO Pakistan, Zahid Mehdi said that Imamia Students Pakistan once again has proved Kashmir our life vein with its enthusiasm during the day of Solidary with oppressed Kashmiri nation. He urged students to record to their protest regarding aggression against Yemeni and Kashmiri people.

He added that Kashmir dispute not separate from Palestine. Today, everyone better knows about forces behind Muslim genocide in the world.

On the issue of Uniform National Curriculum he said that syllabus should be harmonized with common national norms. According to educationists and scholars new syllabus has a reflection of sectarian bias for religious and social topic while philosophical subjects are reflecting atheism. In this situation we demand for expulsion of disputed titles, sentences, chapters and lessons from the curriculum which can put national harmony and integrity at stake. He also demanded for inclusion of topics regarding Karbala and Ahle Bait (AS).
