Shiite News: Sindh Police attacked the peacefully protesting women of Shia Missing Persons’ families outside the office of the Corp Commander, Karachi at Shahrah-e-Faisal, on Saturday and also detained 12 people on the occasion.

According to details, a large number of Sindh Police officials were sent to the above-said place to stop the protest that not only misbehaved but also harassed the women and children of the Missing Persons’ families. Police also snatched the placards and banners of protesting families who were demanding for safe and immediate recovery of their beloved.

On this occasion, the participants of the protest said that if the Government can provide amnesty to the killers of 80 thousand martyrs of the Nation why not innocent missing persons. We always honor the State as our Mother but the State is treating us like a stepmother. Such double-standard justice denotes prejudice and creates hatred. They also demanded the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice to maintain the supremacy of law and assure immediate and safe recovery of our beloved.
