Kashmiri Muslims mark Muharram
With the beginning of the lunar month of Muharram, Muslims from all walks of life in Kashmir have joined hands to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of the third Shia Imam and grandson of the prophet of Islam, Imam Hossein. They hold their mourning ceremonies annually despite restrictions imposed by the Indian-controlled Kashmir administration.
