Hanif Qureshi suggests Quran Recitation gathering on Independence Day

Shiite News: Renowned Scholar of Ahle Sunnah, Mufti Hanif Quresh demands government to hold gatherings of Quran Recitation, Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool and Supplication ceremonies for the eternal rest of departed souls martyred for the dignity, integrity and security of the beloved homeland rather celebrating musical or vulgar programs on the occasion.

He also advices federal minister for interior affairs to celebrate Independence Day festivities with simplicity at Lal Haveli in respect of ongoing Holy month of Muharram Al Haram.

He expressed such views via a video message regarding upcoming Independence Day on 14th August which will be observed during historically mournful month of Muharram Al Haram as per Islamic Calendar. He said we observe the holy month of Muharram Al Haram with a sense of pain and crises which was faced by holy family of Prophet Muhammad PBUH at Kerbala in 61 AH. He also convey this message to the whole nation of Pakistan.
