Shiite News: Central President of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan, Arif Hussain Al-Jani said 6th 1980 was an unforgettable day of Millat-e-Jefferia’s firm determination against the than dictator General Zia-ul-Haq , when the whole Shia Nation came out unitedly on the call of a sincere religious scholar on the issue of Zakat.
Unfortunately, some people tries to present this day with wrong approach but they will never succeed in their Shia hostility because 6th July give us lesson of nation’s unity, he added.
He further said that on 6th July 1980 Millat-e-Tashaiu thwarted the endeavor of forceful imposition of So Called Zakat Ordinance by the than dictator under the command of Late Quaid of Millat-e-Jafferia Mufti Jaffer Hussain alaih damahu.
While paying tribute to Mufti Jaffer Hussain’s dignified service to nation, Al-Jani said that 6th July gave us lesson to keep the head up before cruel dictator which will remain beacon for us till the end of this immortal world. In said struggle Imima Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan was vanguard in the struggle of Shia Community the approval of their charter of demands. In this struggle a resident of Shore Kot Muhammad Hussain Shad was also martyred whom the nation will never forget.
