Ulema urge people from mosques and imambargahs to be vaccinated against corona: President Arif Ali
Shiite News: President Dr. Arif Alvi says that pulpits and mihrabs are important for the education of the people, in Friday’s sermons the scholars should urge the people to vaccinate. President Arif Alvi addressed a consultative meeting on the role of mihrab and minbar in raising awareness among the people about the importance of corona vaccine and its importance to scholars and elders across the country.
The meeting was also attended by Allama Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, Central Leader of Shia Ulema Council, Allama Amin Shahidi, Head of Ummah Wahida Pakistan and other scholars of schools of thought. The President said that the government was grateful to the scholars and elders for their solidarity on important issues in the country. The solidarity started from the pulpit and mihrab, as a result of which the confidence of the people was restored. The President said that as a result of the integrated policy of Ulemas and Mashaikhs, media, civil society, government and NCOC to combat Code 19, Pakistan has achieved better success than other countries and it is your cooperation.
He said that for the last 1400 years, scholars and elders have been conveying the message of Allama and Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH to the people and the survival of Islam is constantly linked to the pulpit and mihrab. He added that people asked after paying attention to Masajid and imambargahs, what was happening in the bazaars? There was no attention, while the government is paying attention to Masajid and imambarghs. In this regard, President Dr. Arif Alvi replied that your job is to give advice and spread good news in the society.
He said that scholars and elders would recommend corona vaccine so that more people could be vaccinated and business life could continue smoothly. He said that the scholars have expressed satisfaction over the vaccine registered in the country, its components and its preparation while people would be instructed from mosques and imambargahs to get the vaccine. He said that religious elders have already been preaching it before and they have applied it themselves, however, special preaching will be done in the sermons of next Friday. President Dr. Arif Alvi said that the role of Ulemas is important in the development and success of Pakistan. We will try our best to train the nation with the advice and guidance of Ulemas and Religious Elders.
