Emphasis on sects more than Islam is reason behind fall of Ummah, Ayatollah Hafiz Riaz Najafi

Shiite News: Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi, President of the Federation of Shia Madrassas of Pakistan, has said that Islam has gained dominance all over the world due to the call of Tawhid. Muslims ruled the world. When monotheism was abandoned, there is no other nation helpless in the world like the Muslims. The decline of the ummah was due to the emphasis on sects rather than Islam. The British formed new sects. Speaking at the Jamia Ali Mosque at the Al-Muntazir Model Town, Lahore, he said that the Arabs had lost to Israel in 1967 due to prejudice.

The Arabs consider themselves the best. This thinking is wrong. It is now a sign of the helplessness of the Muslims that Israel alone is heavier than the 57 Muslim countries. It has destroyed Palestine. However, due to the steadfastness of Hamas, Israel also suffered humiliation and defeat. The OIC has become ineffective. Muslims should still come to their senses, turn to Allah and learn from the fate of the previous nations. The people who forget Allah, Allah forgets them and they fall prey to various torments and calamities.
