DI Khan: ASWJ kill Sunni police cop for investigating Shia murder case

At least four people including an assistant sub inspector (ASI) of police were martyred in takfiri terrorists’ ambush in Dera Ismail Khan. Sunni Bralevi ASI Qaisar was investigating the murder case of Shia martyr Mujtaba Shah.

Four takfiri nasbi terrorists of banned ASWJ-Sipah-e-Sahaba first attacked a house located in Mohallah Hayatullah with a hand grenade and opened indiscriminate fire there. The house belonged to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) ASI Qaisar Jahan, a Sunni police official.

As a consequence, ASI Qaisar Jahan, his two brothers and a laborer were killed.
Sources told that four armed attackers riding two motorbikes continued firing for ten to twelve minutes and later fled away.

Police found 9mm shells from the spot, while the bodies of the martyrs were shifted to the District Head Quarter (DHQ) Hospital.

Meanwhile, the DIG Abdul Ghafoor Afridi and DPO Sadiq Hussain Baloch also reached the site of the incident.

Shia leaders and parties have condemned the targeted assassinations of Sunni Assistant Sub Inspector and his brothers. They said that ASWJ takfiri terrorists first assassinated Mujtaba Shah, a Shia Muslim and then tried to punish Sunni police official for investigating the case in right direction. They lashed out at the PTI’s incompetent government of the Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa province for soft approach towards the takfiri terrorists. They demanded army to launch operation against the ASWJ/LeJ terrorists in entire KP province.
