Gilgit: Islamic Movement of Pakistan hosts important meeting of Milli Yekjahti Council for Interfaith Harmony

Shiite News: Under the auspices of Milli Yekjahti Council Pakistan, Islamic Movement of Pakistan Gilgit-Baltistan hosted a conference titled “Unity of Ummah and Solidarity Palestine” at a local hotel in Gilgit with the participation of local leaders of Shia Sunni Ismaili sects. The speakers stressed in their speeches to work on the unity of the Muslim Ummah and vowed to make further improvements in this regard. The speakers condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression in Palestine.

The efforts of the Ittehad-e-Muslim Ummah of the Islamic Movement of Pakistan, which hosted the conference, were appreciated and the message of Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi was conveyed. Representatives of Ismaili sect were also present amongst the leaders Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Jamiat-e-Islami, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.

Maulana Nayyar Hussain, Maulana Sharafat Velayati, Ghulam Abbas, Mushtaq Advocate, Dr. Abdul Aziz, Shaid Karim, Ghulam Raza, Inayatullah Mir, Tanveer Haideri, Sheikh Ali Asghar and other important personalities attended the conference.
